Statement by the Arab European League on the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people.

Brussels-   Israeli occupation forces are carrying out a terrorist 
onslaught on Palestinian towns, villages and refugee camps.
In a time when the west is committed to its so called “war against 
terrorism” it is still turning a blind eye to the most frank 
materialization of state terrorism that is exercised by Israel on daily 
basis. Killing children and women, bombing hospitals, shooting at 
ambulances,  blockading a whole people, rejecting every opening for 
dialogue, are all  obviously not enough reasons to condemn Israel by the 
west.  

Clearly no one in the west have learned any lessons from history, not 
even the very recent one. The U.S. and the E.U. are pursuing there old 
policy of double standards and hypocrisy, despite the agony, the 
suffering and the injustice all this is causing, and despite the 
frustration that it is generating.
It is very choking to us how this allegedly civilized west is unable to 
see that state terrorism is not only as evil as terrorism perpetrated by 
individuals or private militias, but that it is also ethically and 
objectively worse.
Individuals act by their own will and bare the responsibility of their 
own acts.So that when an individual commits an act , he or she alone 
should be held responsible for it. As for private militias, they have no 
constitutional legitimacy and they only represent their members and 
supporters. But when a state commits an act of terrorism, as Israel does 
day in day out, it can only express a generalized will of extremism, 
fanatism and evil. And when a country that is considered to be 
democratic (we believe unrightfully so)  elects a criminal murderer to 
be its ruler, than this says enough about the violent and corrupt nature 
of its society . This criminal is carrying out his mandate of murder and 
destruction under the eyes of the world. And to think that this same 
bloodthirsty  ruler has a strong nuclear arsenal under his command is a 
chilling idea.

Arab Europeans will not stand still and watch their brethren in 
Palestine being slaughtered, we call upon our European institutions to 
adopt the following measures:

1-	strongly condemn Israeli terrorism and  classify Israel as a 
terrorist state.
2-	Halt all forms of military, economical and diplomatic cooperation 
with Israel.
3-	Support the sending of an international military force to protect the 
Palestinians from Israeli terrorism.

The Arab European League will be confronting our EMP’s and politicians 
with these demands and will undertake the necessary actions within the 
boundaries of the law at the right moment.

If this massacre continues, and if Europe keep on ignoring it, the 
violence will be on our doors and not only on our TV screens, only 
justice can bring about a truly lasting peace and security for all.
